The factory's production line and working environment must always be organized and clean. Before starting work with the factory, verify how the product will be packed and where inventory will be stored โ and under what conditions.
That little bag with gel balls everyone throws away? Ask your supplier to put it inside the product packaging and/or in the main carton. It absorbs moisture and prevents bad odors. This method works for textiles, electronics, products with batteries, and more. This is a basic standard in our service for any production that requires it.
I learned this from Alibaba's warehouse manager in Hangzhou, and it works 100%. Before packing, ask your supplier to simply sprinkle baking soda around your products. Or put 1 gram in a spray bottle with water and spray once on your product. You won't believe how much it will help you and how much money it will save. We always have a bag of baking soda in our warehouses in China.
Many sellers don't know or remember to ask for this test. A professional inspection company will perform the smell test and, if an odor problem is discovered, offer suitable solutions before the product reaches the customer. In our inspections, we always perform an odor test for each product.
Make sure your forwarder can provide the right route and storage conditions during shipment. If the product requires temperature control, this must be maintained throughout the entire logistics chain โ sea, air, or land.
